Jane Dobson is a clinical child psychologist based in the eastern suburbs of Sydney at Lighthouse Child and Adolescent Psychology in Double Bay. 

Jane originally trained as an educator, earning a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Education. Her time in the classroom gave her a unique insight into the issues that children and adolescents face in an educational setting. After leaving the classroom environment, Jane went on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and a Masters in Psychology (Clinical). Along with this academic study, Jane has also gained practical knowledge and life experience through the last 29 years of parenting her own children.

Jane believes in a holistic approach to care, working with children, adolescents, parents, teachers and carers. She has extensive experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of young people’s behavioural and emotional problems. Jane also treats children, adolescents and their families when there is unresolved conflict in families with separated parents. She provides this treatment in a warm family-friendly environment that puts the child or adolescent at the centre of her approach. Her objective is to support young people and their families through targeted evidence-based treatment using empathy and experience to help children, adolescents and their families overcome the many challenges they may face.

Jessica Dwyer is a very experienced clinical psychologist that specialises in treating children from 3 to 16 years. She has particular interest and skills in developing social skills for children on the autism spectrum.

Jessica has over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families with complex emotional, behavioural and social concerns. She first received her Masters of Clinical Psychology and then her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her early career focus was on preschool mental health where she worked in a day treatment facility for young children. While she continued to focus her studies on young children and their families through early intervention programs at schools and hospitals, she also worked with older children and adolescents in community mental health settings and in private practice. 

Several years after relocating to Australia with her family,  she began work in the private practice sector.  Jessica offers a compassionate, therapeutic approach that includes recognised therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy and solution focused therapy. Her particular interest and expertise is in the areas of autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and parenting strategies for toddler and preschool behaviour management problems.
