Lighthouse Child and Adolescent Psychology is based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney and we are a private practice specialising in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. We have an excellent reputation amongst our referring GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, and school counsellors. We are small enough to provide personalised, client focused care and advice in a warm, family-friendly environment. We are large enough to provide a strong referral base as well as having good business infrastructure and support.

About the opportunity:

We are looking for a child clinical psychologist/psychologist who is committed to providing an exceptionally high level of client experience and equally important has the required clinical skills and experience to be able to manage a challenging and diverse case load of clients.

We are extremely flexible and can tailor the role to fit with your personal circumstance. You would be joining 14 other clinicians who value teamwork and collaboration. We care deeply about the children, adolescents and their families that we provide treatment and support to. The team is very experienced, they provide clinical guidance, direction, and peer support. There is a full time practice manager and a part time receptionist that manages all non-clinical aspects of the practice. Qualifications, attributes, skills, and experience:

·       Energetic, enthusiastic, committed.

·       Warm, friendly, and approachable.

·       The capacity to work independently and take personal responsibility for clinical outcomes.

·       A desire to be part of a close knit team.

·       At least 3 years of clinical experience in private practice working with children and adolescents.

·       Registration as a clinical psychologist/psychologist with AHPRA.

·       Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.

·       Hold a current working with children check clearance.
